      کارخانه اوژن خودرو صنعت افتتاح شد

      با هدف اشتغال‌زایی در مناطق محروم، اوژن خودرو صنعت در نورآباد لرستان افتتاح شد؛ 72 نوع لوازم و قطعات پیکان و پراید در فاز اول این کارخانه تولید می‌شود.
      کارخانه اوژن خودرو صنعت، تولید کننده لوازم و قطعات خودروهای سواری تحت پوشش خانه صنعت کاران ایران روز گذشته با حضور جمعی از مقامات محلی در شهرک صنعتی نورآباد لرستان افتتاح شد.
      احداث این کارخانه از سال 1379 شروع شده و با صرف هزینه‌ای بالغ بر 25 میلیارد ریال با مشارکت بانک ملی با هدف اشتغال‌زایی در نقاط محروم کشور و حمایت از کارآفرینان به مرحله تولید رسیده است.
      حجت‌الاسلام علی آل کاظمی، موسس خانه صنعت‌کاران ایران و نماینده سابق مجلس شورای اسلامی در مراسم افتتاح این شرکت با اشاره به شرایط دشوار تاسیس چنین کارخانه‌ای در منطقه محروم نورآباد از توابع شهرستان دلفان افزود: حمایت از کارآفرینان بخش خصوصی موجب بهبود روند تولید و رفع مشکلات اجتماعی ناشی از بیکاری جوانان مناطق محروم می‌شود.
      وی با بیان اینکه شرکتهای دولتی اکثرا زیانده هستند و اصولا دولت کارخانه‌دار خوبی نیست، خاطرنشان کرد: کمتر موسسه دولتی سودآوری و توجیه اقتصادی دارد. برنامه خصوصی‌سازی نیز تاکنون به صورت اصولی انجام نشده است و گاهی اوقات موجب ضررهای بیشتری شده است.
      موسس خانه صنعتکاران ایران در ادامه افزود: اقتصاد ناسالم دولتی شرایط رانتخواری را برای سودجویان فراهم کرده است؛ بنابراین حضور بخشهای قوی خصوصی در عرصه کار و تولید کشور و تسریع و تسهیل خدمات حمایتی از آنان، موجب زمینه‌های رشد و پیشرفت و حل شدن بسیاری از معضلات و مشکلات صنعت کشور خواهد شد.

      مدیر عامل شرکت ”ایرالکو“ گفت: در حال حاضر سرعت رشد مصرف و نیاز به آلومینیوم به حدی است که پروژههای توسعه‌ای موجود در منطقه خاورمیانه یا حتی در سطح جهانی جوابگوی آن نیست و تا مرحله اشباع بازار در این زمینه از تولید، فاصله زیادی وجود دارد.
      مهندس حقیقی، در رابطه با برنامه‌های توسعه‌ای شرکت آلومینوم ایران گفت: براساس این طرحها تولید آلومینیوم از حدود 160 هزار تن در سال 81 به یک میلیون تن و آلومینا از 10 هزار تن به 2 میلوین تن در سال 82 و تولید پترولیوم کک که کاملا وارداتی است، به 450 هزار تن رسیده است.
      وی، همچنین در رابطه با عملکرد ”ایرالکو” درسال گذشته گفت: آغاز رسمی اجرایی شدن طرح نوسازی مجتمع آلومینیوم اراک با امضای قرارداد اعتباری exim bank و بانک صادرات برای اعطای تسهیلات اعتباری ارزان قیمت دولت چین، گشایش اعتبار اسنادی و قرارداد با nfc چین، راه‌اندازی آزمایش آلومینای جاجرم با بوکسیت وارداتی، تولید 120 هزار تن آلومینا و استفاده در دیگهای احیای اراک و صادرات بخشی از آن، راه‌اندازی مرحله نخست فاز یک “المهدی“ و امضای قرارداد فاز دوم مجتمع آلومینیوم المهدی با یک شرکت ایتالیایی از جمله فعالیتهای این شرکت در سال گذشته بوده است.
      وی، در رابطه با برنامه‌های در دست اقدام برای امسال، گفت: به تصویب رساندن استراتژی توسعه صنعت و تعیین سرفصل اهداف کمی صنعت ملی برنامه‌های چهارم و پنجم توسعه کشور، اجرایی شدن طرح نوسازی مجتمع آلومینیوم اراک، فاز 3 المهدی، راه‌اندازی و به ظرفیت رساندن مجتمع آلومینای جاجرم با بوکیست داخلی، انجام مطالعات احداث کارخانه‌های آلومینای جنوب، مطالعات احداث کارخانه اصلی تولید آلومینا از تفلین سینیت در آذربایجان شرقی، راه‌اندازی پایلوت طرح تولید آلومینا از تفلین سینیت و پترولیوم کک و نیروگاه از جمله برنامه‌های در دست اقدام برای سال 1382 است.
      حقیقی، بها دادن به نقش تحقیقات کاربردی و فعال کردن مرکز تحقیقات صنعت آلومینیوم و انسجام و مرکزیت دادن به پروژه‌های پژوهش را از برنامه‌های اصلی شرکت در سال 82 ذکر کرد.

      july 3, - a leading danish company announced thursday that it had won a record contract in supplying two production lines to saveh white cement of iran with a total capacity of 7,200 tons of grey cement per day.
      the 70 million euro (dlrs 77 m) contract is the largest single cement project ever in iran and the middle east in terms of production capacity, f. l. smidth group said in a press release.
      the machinery and equipment for the plant in saveh, northern iran, is due to be during the next 12 to 18 months. the first production line is expected to be operational in about two-and-a-half years, followed by the second line six months later.
      saveh is already iran's leading producer of white cement, and once the two new grey lines are finished in 2006, it will be among the country's largest providers of cement both for domestic consumption and for export.
      smidth said that it had faced competition from companies in china, japan, germany and in particular france, which originally supplied saveh's two existing white cement production lines.
      chief executive frank ged said the danish company was "happy and proud to have won this order in an otherwise squeezed market." the contract, he said, "reflects our successful relationship with the iranian cement industry which dates back to 1933."
      ged said that smidth also supplied a plant for tehran cement over 30 years ago, "has been operating perfectly ever since." he said it is "highly gratifying to see the strong relationship with the iranian cement industry in general being maintained over the years."
      iran currently has a cement production capacity estimated at some 28 million tons per year and plans are to double the capacity over the next 15 to 20 years to meet the increasing demand.

      july 2, -- members of the iran-italy parliamentary friendship group in a meeting with officials of italian industrial confederation here on wednesday discussed expansion of industrial
      cooperation between the two states.
      at the meeting, head of the iranian parliamentary delegation davoud soleimani said that the vacancies in iranian industrial sector and foreign investment law provide proper grounds for broadening mutual industrial collaboration.
      he added that given the good bilateral relations, specially in commercial and industrial affairs, further increase in cooperation is of special significance.
      members of italian industrial confederation, for their part, pointed to the determination of italian officials to expand ties with iran and declared the interest of italy's industrial sector to
      increase cooperation with iranian companies.
      the seven-member iranian parliamentary delegation is visiting italy at the official invitation of the former president of the italian chamber of deputies luciano violante and is due to leave for tehran on thursday.
      during their three-day visit to rome, the iranian mps conferred with the president of italian chamber of deputies ferdinando casini, head of iran-italy parliamentary friendship group luciano violante and the presiding judge of italy's constitution court ricardo kippa.
      the iranian parliamentary delegation also attended some sessions held by various commissions of the italian legislature.

      tehran, july 1 (mehr news agency) -- minister of industries and mines is’haq jahangiri said on tuesday that any stoppage or slow progress in industrial reforms would result in economic instability in the country
      speaking at a seminar on industry and mines jahangiri said to achieve industrial development targets the government should adopt a strategic plan in accordance with other economic policies.
      he said the ministry under his portfolio is the only ministry which has the responsibility to devise a strategic plan for industrial policy for the next twenty years. he said the plan will be presented to the president (khatami) today.
      he said consumers have been given the right of choice in selecting their favorite goods in the new government policy to remove import restrictions.
      by removing the import hurdels the quality of domestic production will also increase, the minister noted.
      he said 65 percent of non-oil exports in the last iranian year (ending march 21) consisted of industrial and mining products, which nearly met the set targets in the third development plan.
      he put the average growth of industrial investments at 12.5 percent in years 1999 and 2000 compared with 9 percent general growth in the country.
      the minister said that 433,000 jobs were created in the mining and industrial sector.

      tehran, july 1, irna -- minister industries and mines es'haq jahangiri said tuesday that automobile sector with 28 percent average annual growth rate has been the fastest expanding sector in the last five years.
      speaking to reporters, he added that the sector has undergone quantitative and qualitative changes, "but this does not mean that it reached a satisfactory level and it faces big challenges in gaining a foothold in global markets."
      attention to final prices and improvements in quality are important factors for automobile manufacturers jahangiri said, adding that is why huge mergers have taken place in the industry such that six companies now produce about 80 percent of the total volume of cars manufactured world-wide."
      "over 55 security standards are now mandatory and all the manufacturers are obliged to abide by them," he underlined.
      he said the policy of the ministry is to encourage joint production with foreign manufacturers with priority in direct
      investments.
      jahangiri said more foreign companies have taken part in the '5th tehran international automobile exhibition.' they do not strictly aim to get to iran's import market, "but they are also searching for domestic partners."
      an example of joint venture of a domestic automobile manufacturers and their foreign counterparts is the deal signed by iran-khodro automobile company and french giant 'peugeot.'
      managing director of iran-khodro manuchehr manteqi said in june that the company is slated to start production of cars with peugeot.
      he told irna that discussions are underway to this end, adding, "the cars will be transported to peugeot's exports markets."
      he said the company is willing to cooperate with world's leading automobile manufacturers in other joint ventures.
      "we have been discussing such cooperation with three automobile companies which are at final stage of negotiations. if any contract is signed it will be announced to the public," manteqi added.
      the fifth international automobile exhibition kicked off today with participation of some 803 domestic and 152 foreign car manufacturing companies from 21 countries.

      tehran, july 1, irna -- head of customs administration masoud karbasian here on tuesday said that the export of industrial goods in the first quarter of the current iranian year compared to the past year's similar period increased by 19 percent to reach dlrs 783 million.
      speaking at the mines and industries day conference, he added that mechanization of various sections of the nationwide customs houses accounted for the boost.
      he said that obtaining a transparent statistical figure is owing to the mechanized performance of customs affairs.
      reiterating the need for creating safe environment for industrial activities, he noted that once this is achieved, the potentials of the sector will further develop.
      karbasian pointed out that protection of domestic production and providing facilities for import and export of goods are among the programs of the customs administration planned to back the industries sector.
      backing domestic products will eliminate problems such as the difference in the values at the customs departments across the nation, lack of transparency and smuggling of goods, which inflict
      great damage on the national industries.
      "customs administration took on to partially mechanize customs departments and standardized legal trends. besides, industrialists are authorized to choose the import route and imported goods can be
      released from customs by postponing the related duties," he added.
      he noted, "given the implementation of the tax aggregation law in the current iranian year (started march 21), from now on customs duties will be refundable, while this will reduce export costs and will curb its increase."
      the official said that in a few months industrialists will be allowed to release immediately the raw materials, imported for the production of industrial goods and deliver the related papers and banking documents to the customs within two months.
      "earlier goods were imported readily, while obtaining the related banking and other documents was a lengthy procedure. this caused difficulty in releasing goods. thus the new trend will facilitate the release of raw materials imported for production," he said.
      karbasian said that to expedite customs affairs, the customs administration has established virtual customs through electronic systems and electronic statements of declaration will also be provided from now on.
      putting the value of goods transited through iran in the past iranian year at dlrs 146 million, he added that promotion of national transit capacity can play a decisive role in the development of industry sector.

      tehran, july 1, irna -- commerce minister mohammad shariatmadari here on tuesday, addressing the commemoration ceremony of industries and mines day held in the presence of president mohammad khatami, said
      that the nation's industrial strategy should accord its growing trend towards being competitive on the world markets.
      he added that given the development of globalization, iran should strengthen its competitiveness in the field of industries and mines to attend global markets and that this calls for production of high-quality goods at reasonable prices.
      referring to the various tools that might currently be used to facilitate trade, he noted that for instance electronic trade can contribute to reducing end price and dropping in export costs.
      "today, the average value added in the field of industry in the world national gross product (gnp) exceeds 27 percent, while in iran it stands at 14.8 percent. to fill the gap, national determination and proper strategies are required."
      the minister said that stable hard currency rate, growth of negative or zero inflation in the targeted markets and high domestic production cost are among the factors interfering with export promotion in recent years.
      turning to the need for producers to secure consumers' welfare and rights, he said that the draft on protection of consumers right is currently being examined by the majlis.
      minister of industries and mines es'haq jahangiri, also speaking at the one-day conference, stressed the need for the nationwide industrial development and said that both domestic and overseas economic and political developments should prove the national movement towards industrial development.
      "industrial development is not subject to economic promotion. it is rather a phase of economic development and all economic strategies should be aimed at achieving it," he noted.
      jahangiri said that industrial development is a national issue which should be attempted by veryone.
      "if the public welfare, anti-poverty campaign, job creation and reduction of current gap with the world are the main objectives of the government, they can only be materialized with industrial development," he added.
      concerning the nation's industrial development strategy, he said that the related draft on such a strategy for the next 20 years has already been drawn up, but needs to be further assessed.
      he added that the draft is to be examined in the one-day conference scheduled for july 13.
      in the meeting, the official who drew up the text of the draft for the country's industrial development, masoud nili, presented a volume of the book to president khatami.
      jahangiri briefed the attendants on the performance of industries and mines sector within the past three years and said that the most significant reason for the boost of investment in the sector was the use of excess funds of the nation's hard currency deposit account.
      "the organizations affiliated to the ministry of industries and mines ceded around rls 2,356 billion worth of shares to the private sector in the past iranian year (ended march 20) and extension of shares worth rls 5,000 billion is predicted in this year's plan," he added.
      referring to the draft on industrial innovation, he noted that the move started with textile industry in 2001 and added that over dlrs 400 million worth of funds has been allocated to the sector.
      he declared the readiness of industrialists to take major steps towards the development of the sector and said, "if more proper grounds are provided, iranian industrialists will manage to make progress more readily and contribute to the boost of per capita income."
      in the conference, 31 industrialists, 13 miners, 13 projects and one highly-qualified miner received certificates of honor.

      tehran, july 2, irna -- president mohammad khatami said here tuesday that presence on global markets and accession to world production cycle is inevitable.
      khatami, speaking at a ceremony marketing the world industry and mines day, said that closure of borders and intervention in economic affairs is of no use, nor is a proper response to economic woes facing the country.
      willingly or unwillingly, the president said, iran as a country of the world has to be present on global markets.
      president khatami added that security of investment would help increase production.
      the president stressed the need for updating domestic technology, saying that a 6.5 to seven percent economic growth rate is a source of pride for the country.
      he however admitted that the rate of unemployment is soaring in the country, adding that 900,000 jobs are expected to be created this year. he said creation of 690,000 jobs in a year is a big stride.
      collective efforts are needed to solve economic problems facing the country.

      july 1 -- an official in khorasan
      provinces's chamber of commerce, industry and mines (ccim) qolam hossein shafei said here monday that private sector investment is showing signs of improvement in the economy.
      this will be an impetus for the government to lessen its role in economy and cede more affairs to the private sector which will lead to more vibrancy in industrial fields , "notably that of industry and mines."
      shafei said due to some obstacles the average rate of return in industrial sector is about 13.2 percent, "which is about six percent less than banking lending rates."
      he also said enthusiasm on the part of industrialist and entrepreneurs is the driving force for industry and "if these qualities wane then will also national production and employment."
      an official in industry and mines ministry said last week that domestic industry shows solid sign of improvement during the third five-year development plan (march 2000-march 2005).
      deputy minister for planning, development and technology siamak, samimi-dehkordi said that the gross capital investments was 12.18 percent last year compared to a negative of 17 percent prior to the onset of the plan.
      he added that the investment growth had been estimated at 18 percent during the plan, "but it has so far revolved around 12 percent."
      "other sign of revival point to an industry value-added of 14.35 percent and its share in gross domestic product (gdp) at 16 percent."
      he further said that share of industry value-added has registered a 1.8 percent growth annually during the plan.
      samimi said the average industry value-added in industrialized countries, as well as in china and malaysia is 22 percent, 37 percent and 34 percent, respectively.
